Subject: Dog Wins Out
This 1939 entry in the Rin Tin Tin Jr. filmography is lame. I started to watch it twice before I actually got through it in one sitting. A trained female dog (Queenie)is stealing foxes, one at a time from a fox farm for two crooks (George Cheseboro and Jimmy Aubrey). Somehow Rinty gets blamed. Rinty meets Queenie and it's love at first sight. Rinty's master, undercover state policeman, Dennis Moore (quite good here) sorts it all out and saves his dog and gets the girl. Strictly juvenile. Look for old-time star Mae Busch in a small role. Enjoy it, if you can stay awake.
